More proof that I'm not perfect. Those white wires are correcting some mistakes in the board again. As mentioned earlier, the little boxes you see them attached to are resitors - about the size of a small ant.

The two devices below are called voltage regulators, which make sure that all the chips on the board only get as much voltage (kinda like power) as they are supposed to. You can see that these two are marked "12 P" and "-12 P" on their bottom (right in this picture), indicating that they control 12 Volts and -12 Volts, respectively. On the left side of the voltage regulators, you can seed large metal tabs, which are usually tied to an even larger metal object when additional heat dissipation is needed.

The silver square in the middle is a clock. It just pulses up and down over and over again, at a very precise rate - an electronic metronome. It is used to keep the controller chip, and the ADCs on schedule, and helps them figure out when to send bits back and forth to each other.
