But this is the first time I&#8217;ve seen it in over a month. <\/p>\n<p>Kitechenaid&#8217;s (now owned by Whirlpool) design did not include a seal for the membrane keypad. So after a few cleanings and some wet hand use, it finally shorted out. Wow, what a crap design. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/russandbecky.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/wpid-20130919_194735.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"20130919_194735.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/russandbecky.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/wpid-20130919_194735.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Needless to say the new one has a seal courtesy of some silicon from the local home center.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You would think that the clock on a stove would be a ho hum experience.
